Overview

Greg is a partner at SEB and the leader of SEB’s Litigation Practice.

 

As a business litigator with a diverse practice, Greg has significant experience representing individuals and businesses in a wide variety of disputes involving real property, the financial services industry, contract claims, business torts, intellectual property, securities, employment relationships, and state and local government actions.

 

His financial services practice includes the representation of electronic transaction businesses, such as payment processors and independent sales organizations (“ISOs”), with respect to a wide variety of issues in the payment systems industry.  In addition, Greg has represented banks, finance companies, credit card processors, insurance companies and others involved in banking and consumer finance disputes, including credit card matters, U.C.C. Article 3 & 4 matters, and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act claims.

 

Greg also advises individuals and companies regarding business formation, corporate governance matters, joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and other corporate matters. Finally, Greg regularly serves as a Court-Appointed Special Master, and is a member of the Academy of Court Appointed Masters.

 

Greg has represented clients in state and federal trial and appeals courts, in front of state and local government agencies and regulatory bodies, and in alternative dispute forums such as arbitration and mediation. Regardless of the forum, his focus is on helping clients control costs, mitigate risks, and achieve their business and litigation goals.

 

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Greg was a partner in the commercial litigation section of a prominent regional firm. While there, Greg was selected as a “Georgia Super Lawyer – Rising Star” by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine.

 

Greg is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, and is also a former member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Connections Academy virtual charter school.

 

Greg is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia.
